Shana Glickfield, Esq., Consultant

Shana Glickfield, Esq., joined the Issue Dynamics, Inc. public affairs and research practice as a Consultant in March of 2005.

Shana brings with her a diverse and broad background in communications law, legislative services, and political activism.  Prior to joining IDI, she worked as a Legal Consultant to Verizon Communications.  Immediately prior to her work with Verizon, Shana assisted the political department of Joe Lieberman for President 2004, by researching state-specific election laws in order ensure campaign compliance with state candidacy requirements. 

In the legislative arena, Shana served as Legislative Associate for Earthjustice Legal Defense Fund, coordinating a grassroots program to deliver conservation messages to policymakers through the religious, scientific, and environmental communities.  She also prepared and presented policy positions on proposed environmental legislation to the media and Congress.  Before that, Shana was a Legislative Assistant for Public Citizen’s Congress Watch where she worked on issue campaigns including national tobacco control, campaign finance reform, and product liability.  Shana was introduced to Washington, DC, through an internship in the legislative department of National Environmental Trust.

A graduate of Michigan State University, Shana later received her law degree from Temple University, in Philadelphia, PA, where she emphasized her studies in intellectual property and technology law.  Shana is a member of the Bar of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
